Protect from direct exposure to the sun and other forms of light.
Direct light sources can cause leather colors to fade. You should bear this in mind when choosing the right location.

The right de Sede care products.
Never use solvents such as stain removers, turpentine or mineral spirits. Do not use shoe polish or floor waxes, either. For proper cleaning and care, we recommend the de Sede leather-care set tailored for use on de Sede leather

Test on unnoticeable areas first.
Before beginning with cleaning and care, you should try the product out on an unnoticeable area first. Never apply directly to the leather. First, apply the product to a clean, soft cloth. Then apply gently and over a large area, working from seam to seam and making sure not to rub too hard. If the cloth becomes deeply colored with the leather dye rather than with dirt, the product is unsuitable. Cleaning should always be done over a large area and never just in small spots. Please also note the manufacturer’s instructions on the products. In case of doubt, contact an expert.

Regular dusting.
​Regularly dust the entire furniture item with a soft, slightly moist cotton cloth. If tap water is too hard, boil it beforehand or use distilled water. Important: Please do not use microfiber cloths!

Care for LIVING, SELECT, TOUCH, CLUB, NECK, COLORAL.
Cleaning: Clean and care for furniture 2-3 times a year using the de Sede leather-care set. 

1. Cleaning with "Leather Cleaner"
Shake bottle before use. Apply the Leather Cleaner sparingly to the enclosed sponge and squeeze several times to create a foam. Now clean the leather over a large area, from seam to seam, without applying pressure, working surface by surface. Only when the leather is completely dry should the seating furniture be treated with Leather Protector. Leather Cleaner is geared for use on all types of smooth leather. For leather not from de Sede, check for compatibility on an unnoticeable area.

2. Treating with "Leather Protector"
Leather Protector restores moisture to the leather, keeping it soft, supple and vibrantly colored. Apply Leather Protector after cleaning the leather with Leather Cleaner (after letting the leather dry well). Shake the bottle, apply product sparingly to the enclosed cloth (never directly to the leather) and rub it in a little. For leather types not from de Sede, check for compatibility on an unnoticeable area. Cream the leather over a large area using circular motions and working from seam to seam. Do not rub vigorously.

Note: Keep out of reach of children.

Removing fluid stains: Use absorbent cloth or paper to absorb the fluid from the surface immediately. Leave to dry, do not rub.

Care instructions NATURALE.
Clean this leather with a moist cotton cloth only. If tap water is too hard, boil it beforehand or use distilled water. If any light surface stains remain after cleaning, treat these with the dry NATURALE cleaning sponge by rubbing off the dirty surface over a large area while applying light pressure.

Important: Please do not use microfiber cloths!

Cleaning and care:
First clean and moisten the surface with distilled water and allow the surface to dry.

For heavily soiled areas or scratching, use the NATURALE cleaning sponge. Rub the leather in one direction, applying light pressure and cleaning the entire surface from seam to seam.

Now rub down the entire surface with a cloth (to remove fine dust).

Use an absorbent cloth to remove any liquid from the leatherat once. Liquid or greasy substances that have already soaked into the leather usually vanish by themselves over time. With time, the NATURALE leather sponge will wear out. Simply cut away any damaged areas on the sponge and continue using it. Always use the sponge dry, never moist or wet! Please note that the NATURALE leather sponge is suitable only for de Sede leather quality NATURALE. Never use it on other leather types.

Note: Do not apply care products containing wax or grease to NATURALE leather. Always consult an expert before treating stains caused by ballpoint pens or other stains.

Care instructions ARTISANO, NATURALE, KASCHMIR.
Clean only with a slightly damp sponge or cloth.

Leather Cleaner is not suitable for ARTISANO, NATURALE and KASCHMIR leather!

Soak the removable cover in a solution of 65 milliliters of mild detergent and 4 liters of lukewarm water. Use a sponge or a brush with very soft bristles to gently rub off the stain. Then thoroughly rinse the fabric to remove any detergent residues. Let it air dry.

Selected removable covers are also machine-washable. Please check the washing instructions in the cover to see if yours is suitable for machine washing. Close all zippers before washing. Use the normal amount of a mild detergent to wash the covers in a gentle cycle with cold water (not more than 30°C). Let the fabric air dry. Please do not tumble dry.

Prepare a solution of 65 milliliters of mild detergent and 4 liters of lukewarm water. Use a brush with soft bristles to clean the fabric, allowing the cleaning solution to soak into the fabric. Thoroughly rinse the fabric to remove all detergent residues and then let it air dry. Please do not tumble dry.

Please clean and care for furniture surfaces using only manufacturer-recommended cleaning and care products.

For the model variant with glass surface:
Please use a glass cleaner when cleaning the glass surface and wipe it dry with a soft cotton cloth.

Please clean the surfaces using a dry or slightly moist cotton cloth. Do not use any aggressive or lime-dissolving detergents.
