For the Beach House in Broadbeach, Australia, the interior experts selected five handcrafted sculptures by de Sede: the DS-600 for the living area, the DS-717 bar stools and RH-305 cantilever chair for the kitchen and dining area, the DS-515 in elegant NECK leather for the office, and the DS-707 armchair for the bedroom.
The designers were impressed by the furniture's long-lasting quality and iconic design. Practical reasons also spoke in favor of de Sede: In sophisticated interiors like this, spatial and logistical challenges always have to be considered.
The modular design of the DS-600 is ideal for such situations, as the large, impressive seating snake can be easily delivered and assembled in individual parts.
Thanks to the close collaboration with all stakeholders, this architectural gem was completed on time – and opened with a lavish dinner party.
