We love craftsmanship and ensure that every piece of furniture meets the strictest quality standards. Our specialists ensure that only the highest quality leather is used. When it comes to cutting leather, we have dedicated experts who, with a trained eye, detect every irregularity in the leather and incorporate it so that it is not visible in the finished piece. Our sophisticated upholstery technology using modern materials also requires a high degree of knowledge and experience, which flows into every piece of de Sede furniture. Our upholsterers are masters of their craft. The creation is rounded off by precise seams, some of which are applied entirely by hand, which make each piece unique.

For us, leather is the most sensual natural product; our customers can feel its soft surface, experience the fine leather grain and feel homely and comfortable.
In order to ensure this, de Sede attaches great importance to the appropriate husbandry of the animals even before they are processed into leather.

Feel leather

The leather used to finish our seating is a byproduct of European cattle farming for food production. During leather production, the tanners are bound by the highest environmental standards. Furthermore, de Sede is committed to always being open to other materials and alternatives in order to remain a forward-looking company.

de Sede has been developing, producing and upholstering in Switzerland and furnishing
homes and public buildings worldwide with its exclusive furniture.

For our manufacturing facility in Klingnau, we are looking for a:
01.05.2026 or by arrangement a/an:

Customer Service / Sales Internal Staff Member 60%

With your expertise and experience, you will complete the customer service/internal sales team and will be responsible for the optimal processing of all customer service matters for the de Sede and FSM brands. The 60% position will be split across five days a week (Monday to Friday).

Your tasks:

  • Expeditious processing of warranty services, repairs and other services
  • Processing technical inquiries
  • Deciding on the course of action for incoming complaints
  • Preparing quotes for repairs
  • Recording and tracking repair orders
  • Advising customers by phone, in writing, and on-site in German, English, and French
  • Personal acceptance of repairs

Your profile:

  • Fluent German and English language skills are a basic requirement, French is an advantage
  • Completed commercial training or equivalent
  • Several years of professional experience in customer service or internal sales is an advantage
  • Extremely resilient and confident in dealing with complaining customers
  • Good IT skills (Office 365), Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is an advantage
  • Technical understanding
  • Polished manners, friendly, customer-oriented demeanor
  • Independent, precise work, intuition (sense for what is feasible) as well as teamwork skills
