Characteristics

The DS-1164 bed is the logical successor to Hugo de Ruiter's flexible seating systems. Its sleek, organic shape and delicate lines combine contemporary design with the highest level of comfort. The backrests can be individually adjusted.

Materials

Available in various leather finishes from the de Sede collection. Custom designs are possible.

Upholstery

The bed frame consists of a molded foam section, the backrest consists of a comfort foam core, and the specially developed upholstery cover features a soft, dimensionally stable surface that's perfect for upholstery cores and mattresses. The core is made of high-quality, extra-soft PUR foam with a protective layer of cotton fleece. This guarantees durability, dimensional stability, and a pleasant feel.

The pronounced seat slope is achieved by a wedge-shaped base construction – sprayed with impact-resistant high-gloss lacquer, in solid oak with a glaze, or made of aluminum. Also available with an integrated, height-adjustable headrest.
